When should I schedule my first prenatal visit?
Six to eight weeks into your pregnancy.
Do I need to come in for my pap smear every year?
We may not perform a pap smear every year (based on ACOG standards), but you should have a yearly physical, pelvic, and breast exam.
Is there anything I should do regarding pre-conception planning?
Your physical and pap smear should be up-to-date. You may choose to do genetic testing based on your family history or unknown family history.
What hospital do you deliver out of/perform surgery?

Do you perform tubal ligations?
We cannot perform this procedure at the hospital, but we do have privileges at a surgery center where this can be performed. We also perform the Essure Procedure which is tubal occlusion in the office.
Do you perform ultrasounds "in-house"?
Yes, all of our sonographers are certified and specialize in OB as well as GYN scanning.
Are all of your physicians a Board Certified Surgeon?
Yes, every physician is a Board Certified surgeon.
If I go into labor outside of office hours who should I call?
You may still call our main phone number (listed above) to reach the on-call physician or midwife.
Who will ultimately deliver my baby?
Our doctors and midwives rotate call and are at the hospital 24-hours-a-day, seven days-a-week. It will be the physician or midwife on call that will oversee your delivery. We do not use other practices to cover our physicians or midwives.
What are your lab hours for blood draws?
Our lab hours are from 8:00-11:00 a.m. and from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
